I just finished a great book entitled The Last Templar. The story line basically is a fictional analysis of how the Knights Templar became so wealthy and powerful so quickly from the 12th to the 14th centuries.

The book intimates that the Templars found one of the original Gnostic Gospels that was written by Jeshua of Nazareth, better know to laymen as Jesus Christ, and that Jeshua proclaims himself to be nothing more than a man, not the son of God, simply a prophet on a mission to spread a message of peace and love.

An underlying storyline suggests that the Catholic Church was aware of a number of Gospels, including that of Jeshua of Nazareth, and had kept them secret decreeing that only the four Gospels of the New testament ever existed - those of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.  Full Article

As we get closer and closer to Election Day Granite Stators are bombarded by an ever-increasing number of campaign ads.

I have to say I find the ads sponsored by the US Chamber of Commerce and the Republican National Senatorial Campaign Committee against former Governor Jeanne Shaheen particularly heinous.

Our Nation:  The Welfare Culture

There is a terrible problem with welfare in this country, but not the kind of welfare you may traditionally think of when you hear the word.

I'm talking about corporate welfare. The billions and billions of dollars the US Government sees fit to hand out to banks, companies and financial institutions when they fail because of their own mismanagement.

Where is my check from the Feds? Will I receive any assistance when my small business fails and, as a result, I lose my house and my savings?  Full Article
